Jonathan J. Vazquez is pastor of Bethlehem Church of Potts Camp and overseer of a daughter work, Bethlehem Church of Starkville, MS as well as an international ministry with students at the University of Mississippi. He began his full-time ministry as an evangelist at 18 years old. In 1990 he received license with the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ and became a member of the National Evangelist’s Department the next spring.

Pastor Vazquez became Youth Pastor of Bethlehem Church in Potts Camp, MS and a faculty member of Bethlehem Christian School in 1994. The next year he married his sweet wife, Sara and God has blessed them with 2 daughters, Ellie Grace and Kate Elise. In 1998 he became pastor of Greater Light Apostolic Church of Anderson, Indiana before returning to Mississippi to become the pastor of Bethlehem Church in 2004.

Pastor Vazquez attended Indiana University and Liberty University and has served in many roles within the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ in district and national offices including as General Youth President from 2003-2007 and as Mississippi District Superintendent from 2011-2015.

Pastor Vazquez is passionate about his family, his church and the work of God and is honored to serve the constituents of the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ.
