ALJC Haiti Relief Fund

Pastor Ball, head of ALJC relief efforts in Haiti, has produced a new video to give us the latest on the situation in Haiti. (The documentary from the trip to Haiti previously featured here can be found at the bottom of this page.)
Rev. Wilner Louissaint, an ALJC licensed minister, is pastor of a thriving 400-member apostolic work in a city near Port-au-Prince. He also works with 14 other apostolic churches in that area.
The earthquake that devastated Haiti recently destroyed his church and most of the homes of his entire congregation. Most all of the 14 churches he’s connected with were destroyed as well. Several church members perished in the quake and many others were severely injured. Pastor Louissaint and most of his congregation are currently living on the streets and are in critical need of food, water, shelter and basic necessities.
Our brothers and sisters of Haiti will need our aid and assistance for months to come. Our long term plan is to ship needed supplies by boat. We will keep you informed about the long term relief effort. However, the unfortunate reality is that shipping aid will take some time, and Pastor Louissaint needs IMMEDIATE assistance.
Understanding this, we have sent Pastor Matthew Ball to Haiti with several thousand dollars in order to get emergency help to Pastor Louissaint. He has purchased supplies and has rendevoused with Pastor Louissaint (January 21). Bro. Ball texts, “Utter devastation. Deplorable conditions. Desperate need.” Will you help? We need to pay for the emergency efforts as well as help long term. Please respond today!
If you would like to send an IMMEDIATE offering for this initial relief endeavor, please do so as soon as possible. You can donate online now using the link below, or by mailing in your donation to the address provided. Let us pray for the people of Haiti and mix faith with our prayers by giving a generous offering to this cause.
